About the season
Season Length
In the Fall Season, training starts in the first or second week of August and ends mid November. In the Spring Season, training starts mid January and ends mid April.
Uniform Cycle
Uniforms have a 2-year cycle. The first cycle started in the Fall of 2023.
Cost
The yearly fee associated with our YDP Program is $850.
Commitment
YDP teams train twice a week for 90 minutes and play 12-13 games per season, including in-house YDP League matches, friendlies, and only 3-4 single-day travel events to nearby Louisiana cities (Baton Rouge, Lake Charles, Hammond). Travel events include two games per day with no overnight stays.
The LA Krewe Rush Youth Development Program gives families a taste of the competitive soccer experience with less travel and commitment, making it the perfect transition for both players and parents.

How teams are formed
At YDP, we prioritize balanced team formation to ensure a positive and competitive experience for all players. Unlike traditional tiered structures, our teams are evenly distributed in skill level, allowing us to consistently create appropriate in-house competition.
Families have the flexibility to choose their preferred training location—either Moore Park or St. Julien Park. Players are then placed on teams based on their selected location, providing a convenient and accessible experience for all participants.
While team formation follows a balanced structure, we do our best to accommodate placement requests. Whether it's a group transitioning from recreational soccer, players wanting to reunite with friends or former teammates, or families requesting specific team arrangements, we strive to create an environment that supports both player development and enjoyment.
